We have discovered a (Princess) cruise that departs Whittier on the 24th to Vancouver (also checking out some coming the other way on the 14th/15th -- one Princess, one Holland) with prices ranging up from $459....It now looks like we might go that route...three cabins constitutes a "group" so if any others interested they should check us out...
also have discovered that flying into one city and out of the other is actually cheaper from Baltimore than a round trip to ANC...
